POLL: Who’s the Best Man Crush Monday? Pt. 2

Last week I asked you guys who’s your favorite Man Crush Monday thus far and because I’ve done so many I divided it up into two parts. Although there were many great contenders last week including Four from Divergent  and Gale from The Hunger Games, the winner has been determined.

In a very close race the winner is Jace Wayland from The Mortal Instruments series. I love Jace and I could talk about him for days but I already did that in another post so I’ll spare you all.

This week we have part two of the man crush battle. Vote below to choose who you think is the best man. After a winner is decided there will be a final vote between the two to see which man is actually the most crushable. I’ll be posting the final battle on Saturday therefore you only have 24 hours to vote for your fave in this round, so don’t miss out.

Don’t see your fave on the list? Let me know in the comments who’s your favorite fictional man and I’ll try to include him in an upcoming Man Crush Monday.

POLL: Who’s the Best Man Crush Monday? Pt. 1

I’ve done so many Man Crush Monday’s now that I’m almost running out of guys (suggestions are welcome, please leave them in the comments). Therefore when I was going through all of them I found myself thinking but who’s the ultimate Man Crush Monday? Who’s the best of the best?

Rather than force myself to choose I figured I’d ask you. Therefore I’ve put together all of my previous Man Crush Mondays so you can decide who’s the ultimate Man Crush Monday (thus far). Because I’ve done so many (almost 20!) this will be done in parts starting with this first 10. Don’t see your fave on the list? Let me know in the comments and maybe they’ll be next.

Results of last week’s poll:

Are you a borrower or a buyer?

In a shocking twist, at least it was shocking to me, buyers won this one with 57.14%. I wish I cold buy all the books so I could have the ultimate library but unfortunately it’s out of my price range. Kudos to those of you who can though. Check back her next week to find out the results of this week’s poll.

POLL: Are You a Borrower or a Buyer?

Are more comfortable in a library or a bookstore? Is it all about books for your shelf or just reading the story? If I was rich I’d probably buy every single book I could but since I’m not the library and I are best friends. Do you prefer to just borrow your books or buy them for keeps? Let me know why in the comments below.

Which one of Kiera Cass’ Novels Has The Best Cover

With 44.44% of the votes the winner is The Heir, my personal favorite. Thanks to everyone who voted and stay tuned next week to see the results of this week’s poll.

POLL: Which One of Kiera Cass’ Novels Has The Best Cover?

FotorCreated

The cover of Kiera Cass’ newest (actually rereleased) novel, The Siren, was revealed yesterday and it’s just as gorgeous if not more so than all The Selection series covers. Actually is it more gorgeous? Vote in the poll to cast your vote for the best cover. If I had to choose I’d go with The Heir but that’s just my personal opinion. What’s yours?

Results of last week’s poll:

Which book character did Shailene Woodley play best?

With 50 percent of the vote the winner is Hazel in The Fault in Our Stars. I don’t know though. I really liked her as Aimme in The Spectacular Now. But you guys chose the winner so I won’t argue. Stay tuned next week to find out the results of this week’s poll.

POLL: Do You Judge A Book By Its Cover?

via genius.com

I’m the type of person that needs to know what the book is about before I start reading it. I like to read the back or the flap and get a gist of what’s the book about. However, I know people that will pick a book solely because the cover looks interesting and that’s cool too. Plus, in general, I’ll bypass a book if I’m not pulled in by the cover right away. Working in publishing I’ve since learned there are art design teams specifically to make covers for this very reason, which I think is pretty cool.

So, does the cover really influence your book choice or does it not bother you at all? I’m pretty sure I know how this poll will go but who knows? Maybe I’ll be surprised.

Results of last week’s poll:

Do you reread books?

With an overwhelming majority of 90% the answer is a resounding yes and I’d have to agree. Happy rereading!

POLL: Do you reread books?

I really enjoy rereading some books. Especially if it’s been a long time since I read it and I don’t remember specifics about the book I love going back and reading it again. However, I know there are some people that are a once and done type of reader and that’s fine too.

So which are you. Only one good read or do you enjoy the occasionally reread? Vote in the poll and comment below whey you like rereading or not.

Results of last week’s poll:

YA or Adult Novels?

Although winning by only 10% more than just YA, both was the winner. I guess most of us just can’t choose.

POLL: YA or Adult Novels?

ya or adult

I’m a big fan of both young adult and adult novels. Even so, I often tend to lean towards young adult. Maybe it’s because I am one or maybe it’s because I just truly prefer them. Either way I love both types of novels but I want to know if you have a preference. Vote in the poll below and let me know in the comments why you’re more of a YA fan or a strictly adult novels person.

Results of last week’s poll:

How do you prefer to read?

With 60% of the votes, paperbacks were the winner. Paperbacks or the perfect books because you can fold them over and bend them any which way while still having the comfort of holding an actual book in your hands. It’s a win-win.
